Hi
I have installed latest drivers and rebooted, however when I plug in the display the device is not recognised, whilst device manger constantly refreshes. I have run tool and attached support file results. Any ideas what is happening here? Many thanks |

Fixed by purchasing a 2 USB male to micro B Y splitter to power up the monitor, strangely enough once monitor is on I can go down to one USB cable but it works.

Hello Robbie,
Thanks for sharing the good news, I had missed your message. It's because there is a higher current needed when you start all the electronics. A USB monitor requires much more power than a graphics adapter as it needs to power the panel and backlight. Some USB ports can provide all current needed whilst others cannot. By using the Y cable, you shared the current between the two ports. It is sometimes enough to try on another port. Alban |
