problems with sound after removal of usb docking station

i have the kensington displaylink docking station with the latest drivers.
all is working fine when the docking station is connected.

when i disconnect the docking station i cannot hear any sound.
i cannot find anywhere to change this setting.

im using macbook pro (using bootcamp) running windows 7 32 bit and latest drivers.

i can see sound being played in the generic windows sound icon in the toolbar with graphic equaliser working etc

can anyone help?

hmmm...happened to me too, and I found out I had my earphones plugged in...could it be that?..lol
