Obviously the system knows when I plugin the USB to dock because the external monitors come on, the wifi turns off, and the audio is redirected....this is great. But is there a way for the system to automatically (when docked) get the Surface Pro screen to auto Dim or better yet turn off just the Surface Pro screen while the 2 external displays remain on. I ask because it's a major waste of energy to have the Surface Pro screen on when I'm not even looking at it, the unit gets hotter because it's on, and I would really like to save as much screen life as I can.
Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? |
