On my Asus Zenbook Prime Touch (Win8 x64) with latest HD4000 Intel drivers (9.18.10.3071) and DisplayLink 7.2, my call audio and microphone stop working for 10-20 seconds whenever I start screen sharing in Lync 2013. After the pause, audio works as expected, but this is disruptive for my phone calls.
Removing the DisplayLink drivers resolves the problem with Lync. |

Are you using wired Ethernet on the dock? If so, I think it is is the same problem as in this thread:

The problem was happening docked and undocked, wired Ethernet and wireless.
I removed the 7.2 drivers, rebooted reinstalled, and now the problem isn't happening with Lync (so far). Seems flaky. |
