Hi,
I am struggling to get the monitor to be found on start-up. It just sits with a black screen. I want to have the USB monitor as the systems only monitor. I can get the monitor working after plugging another DVI monitor. I can then disconnect the DVI monitor and the USB monitor works fine until I restart, then it does not get found again. I have tried updating the ATI driver, the USB driver and Displaylink drivers. I have attached the diagnostic files. Please help! |

Hi,
Maybe there is a problem with my USB monitor? I have updated to 7.3M1 and uploaded fresh diagnosis files. With that attached diagnosis all I have is a black screen on the USB monitor. I still cannot get it to perform with any amount of reliability. I can get a picture only some of the time.....? |

Looking in event viewer I see that the display link service fails to start. What I can't understand or solve is why...?

Hi,
In the BIOS is the AMD graphics card the only one that is active? If not please try disabling the Intel card and separately try just the Intel card. Thanks, James |

Thank you, it worked!
The BIOS was set on Auto for the GPU. I tried setting it on PCIe, (the ATI card) and had the same issue. Setting to only the Intel integrated card and it is working OK. |
