This is a weird one. I was running the 8.2 Beta, it was fine. I just upgraded to the 8.2 M0 release. Now, if I open a window that is primarily black, like a command prompt, whichever screen that window is on dims noticeably. If I move the black window to another monitor, that monitor dims, and the previous monitor brightens to normal. The dimming and brightening happen slowly, over the span of 3-4 seconds.
Any thoughts or suggestions? |

That's weird indeed. I don't see any code change which would warrant that. Would you please be able to post a video of the phenomenon and the logs (see the 3rd link in my forum signature for step-by-step on how to do this) ? Kind regards, Alban

My apologies, it's a setting on my monitors called Dynamic Contrast. Turning it off makes everything happy again. Nothing to do with DisplayLink.
