M1 monitor Lag

Hi, i have a 2k monitor connected over displaylink witch is extremely laggy in big sur.
the resolution is 2k with 50hz, is this a standard or something we might expect to see fixed in the future?

This is not the experience I'd expect with such a low resolution.
An article from a popular site has a demo showing with more.
I'd recommend contacting tech support at technical-enquiries@synaptics.com to analyse your particular case.
