Default Third display not showing in System Preferences

My model is Dell D6000, Macbook Pro M1 Pro, MacOS 15.0, my setup is triple monitor. The Dock is plugged into the type C port of the Macbook.

My external display setup includes three monitors:

Main display (LC27G5xT, 2K144): connected directly to the MacBook (via USB-C to DisplayPort)

Second display (DELL U2515H, 2K60): connected to the Dell D6000 dock via DisplayPort

Third display (1080p60): connected to the Dell D6000 dock via HDMI

I'm using the latest DisplayLink Manager for macOS, and all three monitors show an image.

However, the third monitor (HDMI via the dock) appears zoomed in and is in very low resolution, in DisplayLink Manager it is named as “No monitor”, and it does not show up in System Preferences → Displays, so I can’t arrange or adjust resolution for it.

Has anyone run into this issue or found a workaround to make macOS properly detect and manage the third monitor via DisplayLink?

Thank you.

Hello ICyrets,

Thank you for the detailed setup.
I recommend disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable after the other monitors are already set up. If possible, try connecting the HDMI monitor using a DisplayPort connection instead.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the DisplayLink Manager app.
If the issue persists, you can try running the DisplayLink End-User Cleaner Tool, then reinstall the software.
If your issue would not be solved, please contact us directly for further assistance by following these steps.

Hi, thank you for your response.
I did all that you mention above except connecting the HDMI monitor using DP. I will try tomorrow.
Also, I did mail to displaylink support with the logs but haven't had any response, can you check the mail under the name Thien Tran please.
