Default Cannot Install on Hard Drive - Mac Error

When I try to install the Display Link app, Mac spits out an error stating to select a disk where to install Display Link, but the HD has an error that it cannot install. See attachment.
Previously I had the app installed but it started acting up, so I decided to unInstall and reInstall, and that's when this error starting coming up.

(I Just tried installing a different app and it worked just fine. I am also able to run all other apps - this is the only app that is causing this)

I would suggest reviewing this information --> https://kb.plugable.com/question/1807081 to see if that helps.

If after doing so you are still unable to install the DisplayLink Manager Application, I would suggest using the DisplayLink End-User Cleaner application --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...tool-for-macos and then attempting the installation again.

If after doing so you are still unable to install the DisplayLink Manager Application, then I would suggest contacting DisplayLink directly for assistance by following the procedure outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink

I tried both options as suggested but with no success. I just submitted an email to Support with the log files. Thank you!

Just an FYI in case someone else has this issue. I ran the install from this link instead and it worked.
