During past 4 months been dealing with real mess since I updated from 1.10 to 1.12, ever since its been a nightmare of displays not being detected right. ... along with everyone else here on forums .. anyways ..
2 weeks ago I took a new approach for my D6000 doc (been using for 3 yrs fine till 4 months ago) . I added 2 adapters so now connected as follows D6000 / Displaylink port> <displaylink port to HDMI> <HDMI to D-VID> <D-VID cable to monitors> U2412M Before I was using D6000 Displaylink port <display link cable> U2412M Displaylink port This looks a messy as it sounds but my F-ing displays have been working again ! Pretty sure they are using the alt-display port comm now but someone who knows this better could chime in. here is my prior thread below with the details https://www.displaylink.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=69603 |

Hello junky,
Thank you for providing such detailed information about the issue, as well as sharing the solution you discovered. Your input has confirmed our initial assumptions, and after analyzing the logs, we can now clearly identify this as a hardware-related problem. We truly appreciate your cooperation and the effort you put into helping us reach this conclusion more efficiently.

thank you for the reply, do please note I have tried 3 different D6000 Docks, and still using same monitors.
Also, most key, this issue started immediately after updating from 1.10 to 1.12 ... hardware failure right after updating your software .... you are not suggesting your software has broken our hardware, right ? |
