Hi all,
im new to DisplayLink. I wanted a docking station for my mac pro and my samsung odysee G9 5k Monitor. My cable Setup is dual DP Port from Dock to DP and HDMI to the G9. Unfortunately im missing my resolution 5120 × 1440. The experimental build doesnt help as well. Ive got the 14.2. Am i missing something? GR Dave |

Hello Dave,
Thank you for your message. What is your docking station brand and model? Different products support different maximum resolution. Regards, Szymon Last edited by Szymon; 11-27-2025 at 10:57 AM. Reason: duplicated posts |

Hi Dave,
I quickly recreated your setup and this display successfully lights up at 5120x1440@60Hz. I'm a bit confused with the description of your cabling setup. Please make sure to connect the monitor to the dock using either single DP to DP or HDMI to HDMI cable as this is not a tiled 5k display. ![]() Regards, Szymon |

Interesting. I will check that. Yesterday there were no signal when im attaching only DP to DP. Then i thought, I need to go to dual DP to DP AND HDMI. Didn't see this config yet, which I build yesterday evening. So let me give you an update when I checked this later.
You connecting HDMI to HDMI, correct? My mac wasn't powered when I attached the USB-C, this is also correct? Thanks so far! |

I checked both DP to DP and HDMI do HDMI. Good luck!
It doesn't matter if your Mac is powered or not when you connect USB-C. Regards, Szymon |
