Question Triple 4k dock shorts out intermittently

Hi-

For around 3 years, I've owned a Plugable USB-C Triple 4K Monitor Docking Station with 100W Laptop Charging. I use this to connect my Mac mini M1 (On Tahoe 26.01) to 3 display monitors - two 24" connected (one connected via hdmi-hdmi, the other one connected via DVI-hdmi) and one 32" connected via hdmi-hdmi), as well as connecting a few usb-based devices (webcam, external drive). I have my mac/monitors plugged into a power conditioning power strip. My displaylink software version is current (14.2.0)

Over a recent 4-5 month span, my monitors will occasionally (once every 2 days) go blank and then come back 10-15 seconds later. That's not entirely true- one monitor stays active with windows from other monitors gathering. They return to their original monitor location once the refresh is complete. Additionally, the webcam will also short out when the monitor refresh happens. The webcam does not come back after the monitor refresh, and requires a mac restart to come back again. External drive comes back fine.

I've read about similar displaylink scenarios regarding monitors blanking/resetting, with the suggested resolution of reverting to software v9. However, with the additional issue of the webcam not resetting, I'm wondering if it's a hardware related issue.

Has anyone encountered similar behavior and discovered a fix? If DisplayLink staff are also reviewing these posts, I'd appreciate any of your input.

Thanks.
