I have exactly the same problem (with the newest driver).
Is this something 5.4 might be able to fix? |

Hi
We're trying to fix this, but need a memory dump with Driver Verifier enabled. To do this, please enable driver verifier with the command below: verifier /flags 0xffb /driver displaylinkusbport.sys dlcdbus.sys and reboot the system (so the change takes effect). If you then get teh full memory dump, please PM me and I'll give you a location to upload it to. Thanks Wim |

HP Envy Problem with BSOD
Hi,
I have the same problem. I have activated the verifier and had a bluescreen. Memory dump is about 600 MB. Where can I upload it? Thanks Pirmin |

BSOD when starting VMWare
Hi Wim
After activating the Verifier, I wasn't able to start a VMWare Session anymore. I got a BSOD with "The driver is corrupting the locked pages tracking structures" . After exectung verifier on the command line and removing the driver settings for display link, it worked ok again. Just for your info. Important: the original problem with the external display is still not solved. Thanks Pirmin Last edited by PGisler; 07-19-2010 at 09:22 AM. |

Hi Wim
Have you had a chance to look at the dump? Please let me know when you have a fix for it or if you need anything else. Thanks Pirmin |
