Hi there
I have an HP4730s Notebook with two LG Flatron E2342 monitors. One monitor is connected via normal HDMI and the other via a USB 3.0 USB to HDMI adapter. Previously I hd tried a USB2.0 adpater but the screen would only ever show plain notepad type applications correctly - anything graphic such as a browser would not display correctly. So I bought the USB 3.0 adpater to see if that would resolve the issue. It didn't seem to make any difference at all so I upgraded to the most recent DisplayLink software. Now my screen is only showing a cursor trail if I drag something onto it. To all intents and purposes it seems to be up and running - however all that can now be seen is this : ![]() I have run the Support Tool and it passed the System Compatibility requirements with all drivers up to date. The zip file is available here : EDIT: file removed as issue no longer persists Any suggestions going forward? Cheers, Craig Last edited by craigbarker; 09-19-2013 at 07:22 AM. |

Although I wish I could say how but it seems the problem has sorted itself out.
