Default Issues with Screen Shot Tools since last update 7.9...

I recently had to update to 7.9 DisplayLinkManager because of a windows update (i am on Win7), and since i have updated to this, all my Screen Shot tools switch my display's into Basic Color Scheme. I have been using the DisplayLink devices for 2 years with these tools, without fail or issue. something changed in the latest release that is causing this, has anyone seen this at all?

Hi,

Can you advise which tools you are using? Do you get switched to Basic mode only whilst using the tool or is the switch permanent?

Thanks,
James

this started with Jing which i have been using for quite a while, when i would initiate a screen shot (Print Screen) the screens would go to Basic mode and blink off then back on (after the latest update). it would stay in Basic mode until i totally exited the Jing software. previously Jing would always be open on my computer. I then uninstalled and reinstalled Jing, that didn't help. so i tried the new Snip from Microsoft Garage and same result. so far those are the only 2 that do it, the only other one i have tried is the Snipping Tool that comes in Windows, and that does not cause it to go to Basic Mode.
