Hello!
I've been testing out macOS 27 (Golden Gate, Public Beta [26A5406e]) and have been loving it so far. However, the DisplayLink software (16.2) refuses to load, resulting in no output to my external display. Here is an image link of the error: https://imgur.com/a/dQqTwqt . No matter how many times I reinstall the software (I tried the latest and earlier versions) or reboot the machine (M4 MacBook Pro), the error persists. Just wanted to post to make sure this is on the radar for a potential fix. Is anyone else getting this issue on the public beta? Here's the flow: 1. Download 16.2 2. After installing, launch DisplayLink 3. Observe the error 4. See no menu bar icon or a launchable menu/process. - a. Go to Menu Bar in System Settings; see that 'DisplayLink Manager' is enabled - b. No applications (e.g., Hidden Bar) are modifying the menu bar. Any ideas? Thanks! Last edited by Azuronate; 08-13-2026 at 05:58 AM. |

If you have not already done so, I would suggest reporting the issue to DisplayLink directly by following the process outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink

Done! It should now be in the development Jira system. Thank you for sharing the link; it made it super easy to follow.
