I have bought a DELL XPS 13 9343 and a DELL MKS14 Dockstation.
I tried to install the software but i couldn't. At the beginning I saw the "License agreement", I clicked on "Accept" and after click, nothing happen. I have only this file installed: “C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core Software\AppInstallerDisplayLinkCore_7.6.56275.0.d at” And I have two drivers not installed (See attached picture) I have upgraded all the BIOS revisions, updated all the drivers from DELL support, I tried to install DisplayLink_7.7M4 with the same result. Attached is the log from your support tool I tried in a asus based computer and all works fine. The problem is only on the XPS 13, I tried the same on two laptops XPS 13 9343 |

It looks like the drivers have not installed. You can try forcing the drivers to install by forcing them to update using the files from:
Audio: C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core Software\AudioDriver Ethernet: C:\Program Files\DisplayLink Core Software\CdcNcmDriver Wim |

I have this same issue on a new Dell XPS 15 and a Dell D3100 dock. In my case the AudioDriver and CdcNcmDriver folders don't exist so I can't force the update.

I was actually able to resolve this issue by installing the 7.4M2 drivers (from a Dell SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Docking Station) and then upgrading to 7.7M4 with the latest installer.
