Win 7 professional , 64bit , yellow exclamation

HI ,

I have a windows 7 pro 64 bit machine , had to rebuild it due to a defective drive.

I also have three 'USB 2.0 display adaptors' model : WS-UG12D1.

These used to work ok on the previous build , now they are not working.

In device manger , under USB display adapters I am seeing :

'displaylink Display Adapter (0198)' with a yellow exclamation.

Hardware ID says : Pid_0198

I have tried the newest displaylink drivers as well as the old ones that were working before.

this machine is an HP notebook with an Nvidia Quadro FX 1800m card inside.

any ideas?

Fixed.

well after almost a day of tinkering , we managed to get it working by uninstalling the latest displaylink software and going back to 5.20.
