Exclamation DisplayLink not correctly recognising my monitor

When plugging my monitor in through hdmi - it recognises its native res fine as 2k and 144hz works fine. But using the displaylink, it thinks its native res is 1080p, and when setting to 144hz scrolling becomes laggy. Mouse movements and scrolling in general also feel like there is a small amount of input lag. Before, the displaylink would recognise my monitor correctly with no issues. I have tried reinstalling the displaylink driver, rebooting, using and not using betterDisplay to help with scaling, but even that now doesn't recognise the monitor correctly. Please help.

Hello adamb0403,

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of DisplayLink driver.
Also, please check if all your cables are properly connected. Try to replug your device.

Could you share more about your setup, which macOS?

If this problem still occurs, I recommend you contacting our support team by following these steps.
