Default DisplayLink stopped working

One day it was fine next day it was gone.

I have tried everything i have sen in the forums from uninstalling to reinstalling to trying the 1.8 driver. To swapping cables.

Verified the monitor works fine.

I see this in the console:

6/19/12 5:15:06.245 PM DisplayLinkManager: SCNetworkReachabilityCreateWithAddress[Pair] called with invalid address family 1

When I connect the adapter.

attaching the zip.

Any help appreciated.

using the kensington adapter on a Macbook Pro mid 2010 2.5 i5
NVIDIA Geforce GT 330m 256mb

Running 10.7.4

Everything had been working fine usually just sleep the computer but had to reboot for some software and upon reboot it stopped working.

Default Same here

The very same thing happened to me yesterday. I have an Mimo UM-710 USB monitor attached to my MacBook Pro 5,1 with Lion 10.7.4 ... everything was working just great for years. I have been using 1.8 alpha driver since it was released.

Now suddenly yesterday my monitor stopped working. In Displays it shows resolution of 0x0 and this is in my log:

21.6.2012 14:20:56,782 DisplayLinkManager: SCNetworkReachabilityCreateWithAddress[Pair] called with invalid address family 1

I think the SCNetworkReachabilityCreateWithAddress log entry is a red herring.

From jtorresqa's logs the only strange thing is a line in the kernel log:
"The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 1 of Hub at 0xfd130000)"
Nothing looks to be plugged in port 1 so strange.

Given this happened after installing some SW I'd suggest to do the usual uninstall DL software, repair permissions, install it again.
