So, I bought the USB2HDMI Adapter because my existing graphics adapter isn't compatible with Windows 8 (Thanks to the lovely guys at Intel).
The USB2HDMI Adapter was therefore bought as an external graphics adapter. However, now when I try and install I get the error:- "Before installing DisplayLink core software and drivers, please install upto date OEM Drivers for your PC's graphics hardware etc...." Is there anyway I can get round this error? And I was right in thinking it is an external graphics adapter? |

Hi,
DisplayLink software requires a graphics driver to be present in order for it to function. Apart from updating your system with a newer graphics card you could try hunting around google to see if anyone has made an unoffical Windows 8 compatible graphics driver for your Intel graphics adapter. Thanks, James |
