Surface Pro 3 display not closing with Targus Dock

Hi All,

We are testing the Surface Pro 3 on our network for a rollout.
We are using a combination of Targus and Dell universal docks using Display Link drivers.

We are running the latest display link drivers (7.8) and everything is working fine however when we shut the lid for the surface pro 3 using the Typecover keyboard, the screen stays on for the surface. This is an issue as you loose the mouse on the screen when move it toward the surface.

Is anyone else using a surface with 2 display monitors and having no issues?
When the lid is shut Windows should show 2 displays as the Surface display should shut off, but we are seeing 3 displays.
Also we are using Windows 8.1.

So i guess no one knows about this or has experienced it before?
