Hi,
Ran the driver installation script displaylink-driver-1.3.54.run sudo ./displaylink-driver-1.3.54.run These was the messages that were printed: Verifying archive integrity... All good. The upstart script wasn't installed, meaning, /etc/inig/dlm.conf is missing. Any ideas why? I have: 1. xps 13 2. ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS 3. kernel version 4.10.0-30-generic 4. xorg version 1:7.7+13ubuntu3 5. intel graphics |

I'm new to this sw, but looking through the installer, I see it test for systemd or upstart.
I suspect it has detected that you have a systemd system, and have created /lib/systemd/system/dlm.service instead. Do you have this file? I have Kubuntu 17.04, and have the file in /lib/sytemd instead of a upstart skript. Do the package work? |

After finding this post, I enabled and started dlm service. But after system restart it is dead, and "static" instead of enabled. Is it normal? Still, if I start it manually, it is running.
