I am running Win7 64-bit on a Dell XPS 1702X laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M.
I have TWO! DisplayLink ACP70s. One is in my office connected via DVI to a Dell U2410 monitor. The second is connected via HDMI to my Samsung TV. Both stopped working at the same time. When connected, the ordinary USB devices work--keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner. But video and Ethernet do not. Video and Ethernet do work when connected directly to the laptop. When I plug the DisplayLink in, additional entries appear under the USB Controllers in the Device Manager. But there is NO USB Display Adapters category in the Device Manager!!! I have uninstalled-reinstalled and then updated my DisplayLink drivers to 7.1M0. I have rolled back my NVIDIA drivers from 9.18.13.697 to 8.17.12.8577 I have swapped out cables (except for the USB 3 cables since the only two I have are connected to the two DisplayLinks. |
