Default External displays flashing

I have a 2020 MacBook Air M1 running Big Sur 11.6.4 (because Monterey apparently has bluetooth issues) and DisplayLink along with an OKX USB_C hub. Dual displays in clamshell mode work just fine, but in the past few days, my displays have started flashing like an app is taking a picture (like PhotoBooth does) whenever something happens like a popup meeting reminder or double-clicking on my outlook calendar to create an event. I realize DisplayLink requires screen monitoring (which I hate), but is it taking pictures now?

You mention that you are using an, "OKX USB_C hub"

Can you please provide a direct web link to the product you are using?
