I would like to know more about DisplayLink's plans for macOS Sequoia.
In macOS Sequoia, screen recording/viewing needs to authorized every month. I am an admin for a medical school and there are we manage a ton of Macs that are actively using DisplayLink. |

Hello, I woke up this morning and found that my display link management already supports Sequoia.
It did give me a surprise, and I don't know why it happened. Maybe I did the following operations, hoping it can help you. Download AlDente and turn on the discharge to 70%. Although I'm not sure if it will be successful, I only did this related operation yesterday. I hope it can help you. |

I got a little too brave yesterday and upgraded to Sequoia. I get a little trigger happy every couple of years, regret it, but only learn my lesson for a short time period.
So, the issue I've discovered this time is when using my "Targus Dual 4K Docking Station 65W PD" with DisplayLink Manager with my Magic Trackpad. The cursor tracking is jumpy, inconsistent in its speed (even with finger moving at a constant pace, and trends downward. The behaviour is the same on 1.9 and 1.10 versions of DisplayLink Manager. It is also the same if connected using Bluetooth or Hardwired. I've even tested it hardwired directly into the Macbook rather than through the dock, and get the behaviour. Tracking is 100% perfect if using the built in Trackpad. Now - onto the fun challenge of rolling back MacOS. And no, I didn't do a Time Machine Backup. Flying without a net. Ugh. |

Great insight. I had not noticed that the cursor tracks just fine with the built in track pad.
It's my magic mouse and keyboard that are laggy on just 1 of my 2 extended monitors. Was fine before Sequoia .If it weren't so aggravating, I'd limit what I put on that screen and move on but..oh man it's bad. Seems to be displayLink/Sequoia and not my hardware (keyboard/mouse fully charged) |

Watching this thread. I am experiencing exactly the same thing with a Dell D6000 dock and an M1 MacBook Pro. Very laggy cursor (especially near the top of the screen) when using my Apple touchpad or mouse over bluetooth, but the built in touchpad on the MacBook Pro does not have the same issue.

To all of those who have posted in this thread...
If after having upgraded to macOS 15 Sequoia your DisplayLink-based product is not working as expected and the original manufacturer of the product has not been able to assist, then please follow this procedure to report the issue to DisplayLink directly --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink |

I appear to have resolved my issue for now.
Originally I had one monitor connected using DisplayPort, and one using HDMI. The mouse-lag was only happening on the HDMI monitor. Changing both to use DisplayPort has resolved the issue. Both monitors are running at 60Hz. |
