Default MacOS doesn't pick up multiple displays

Hey friends! This is the first time we've tried this, but we're FINALLY trying to get multiple monitors working on MacOS, specifically at this point in time a MacBook Pro M4, running the latest OS.

We have ALOGIC docking stations which are DisplayLink (or so the website says), we've downloaded the MacOS Software and installed, enabled permissions, restarted, etc. but when a docking station is plugged in we can't see additional screens in MacOS, and we can't see them in the DisplayLink app, it just shows 'Please connect your DisplayLink device'.

Everything from this has been done: https://support.displaylink.com/know...ntroduction-in

Just wondering what we're doing wrong here! Is it possible the docking stations aren't actually DisplayLink I've tried on three different DUPR models? Do we need another software/driver installed for this one to work?

Any help would be fantastic.

Hello damiankw,

Thanks for reaching out.
It is important to notice that not all of the ALOGIC docking stations are running on DisplayLink technology. Which exact model are you using?

Hey mjaroch! Thanks for the reply.

We are using specifically these models. I've tested all of the DUPR's but not the DUC's yet:
- DUPRDX2
- DUPRMX2-100
- DUPRMX3-WW
- DUCMA3
- DUCA3

Hello damiankw,

Most of the ALOGIC models you listed won't show up in the DisplayLink Manager app because they don't use DisplayLink drivers. They rely on native USB-C video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
