Default No more connection with macOS 15.7.3 Tahoe 26.2

Hi everyone,

I’m using the UGREEN Revodok Pro together with my MacBook Air M2 running macOS 15.7.3 (Tahoe 26.2). I connect my MacBook to two external monitors using DisplayPort. Everything worked perfectly until December.

After coming back from vacation, both monitors suddenly stopped being detected. I downloaded the latest DisplayLink version and used the DisplayLink Cleaner Tool beforehand to remove all old files. Unfortunately, I still can't get any connection - my MacBook doesn’t detect either of my two screens anymore.

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows a possible fix?

Hi Boraabee,

Does any other peripheral connected to your dock work?
What do you see in the Displays tab of DisplayLink Manager app? Is it empty?

Regards,
Szymon

Hi Szymon,

everything else is working correctly.
My mouse and keyboard are detected without any issues.

I also tested another docking station that supports only one monitor (a regular non‑DisplayLink device), and that one works fine.

I additionally tried using an HDMI cable and a different DisplayPort cable, but it didn’t change anything.

In the Displays tab of the DisplayLink Manager app, I only see the following message:
“Please connect your DisplayLink device.
After connecting the accessory to this Mac via USB, a system prompt may appear. Please click ‘Allow’ to ensure this device is working properly.”

Thank you for your help !
Bora

Hi Boraabee,
I've had this problem too. Have you looked in your 'Privacy & Security' settings?

In System Settings, got to Privacy & Security and select 'Screen and System Audio Recording'.

Then toggle the DisplayLink Manager switch on.

You’ll have to enter your password and relaunch the DisplayLink app.

Your external monitor should now be working

Hey audiomattster,

thank you for your answer! I already had this option enabled. Before updating to macOS 15.7.3 (Tahoe 26.2), everything worked fine for months. I even ordered a new DisplayLink docking station, but it still doesn’t work.

Hey all,

it finally worked with the third device! I’m now using the Baseus Spacemate 11-1 DisplayLink Docking Station. I honestly don’t know what the difference is or why it’s working now, but at least it works.

Thank you all for your help!
