Note: this (experimental) feature no longer seems to work on the v16.0 version of the DisplayLink app - hopefully future versions will fix this issue.

Just want to note that it turns out a reboot/DLM restart was needed... @sabaatworld also reached out to me and reported the problem resolved after a restart. Sorry for the apparently false alarm regarding this.
