I've looked at the logs you submitted and the I assume you are using an HP Z30i monitor? It was the only one I could find in the logs. The modes that this monitor reports that it supports are:

Display Modes
=============
640x480x24@60
720x400x24@70
720x480x24@60
720x576x24@50
800x600x24@60
1024x768x24@60
1280x720x24@50
1280x720x24@60
1280x800x24@60
1280x1024x24@60
1440x900x24@60
1600x1200x24@60
1680x1050x24@60
1920x1080x24@50
1920x1080x24@60
1920x1200x24@60
2560x1600x24@60

2048x1536 is not on this list, so our software will not report it as an available mode. Why do you need this resolution and have you found it is supported by native graphics cards? It is not a very common mode.
