Default Same issue here

It is very frustrating... I have tried the c prompt removal tool, restarted and attempting to run the install of the latest driver and it provides the same error message that another installation is in progress. I have tried many re-boots and also ran task manager to see if there is anything else running. I have discovered the conflict was my AV software. I removed the AV software and ran the cleaner tool - rebooted, and ran the driver install tool and can now use my monitor.
