Windows 7 HDMI Resolution Issues

Hi,

Just bought my USB/HDMI adapter & when connected to my HDMI capable AOC 23" monitor I can't get resolution above 1280x720. It's running off a Lenovo R400 with Intel GM45 video. The resolution of the laptop screen is 1280x800, but as soon as I go above 1280x720 in extended mode on the main screen it gets all glitchy, until i hit 1920x1080 and it's just black, but the led on the monitor is showing it's on.

I've upgraded from driver 5.6 to 6 but it hasn't helped.

Any ideas ? Attached are the logs.
