Dual Displays Freeze and go Black

I have a PC running Windows 7, and am using two HP 24" Monitors, with a DIAMOND BVU-195 Version 1.0 USB monitor adapter.
My Display Card is a NVidia GeForce 6600 GT.

After about 10 minutes of use, the following happens:
The mouse locks up
The first monitor goes BLACK
The Second monitor goes black
I move the mouse around and then the screens come back to life.

After 10-15 minutes, this happens again...

How can I solve this problem?
