Wim Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 1,561	Don't waste your money on a new HDMI cable yet! You should be able to route the audio from the laptop to the USB audio device (HDMI adapter) under Control Panel->Audio. I think this will solve it and its nothing to do with the HDMI cable. Wim
