I am trying to get my UM-710S running on my new Windows 8 machine.
I have the DisplayLink drivers and core software loaded (current versions, downloaded tonight). I have current versions of the NVIDIA drivers installed (downloaded tonight) I have followed the diagnostic steps on HOWTO: Debugging issues on Windows with DisplayLink--and everything seems fine. The DisplayLink tray icon is working. The LED and backlight on the Mimo respond to connect/disconnect of the monitor via the tray icon. If the monitor is active and I stop the DisplayLink software, the monitor cycles through test patterns. The only problem is that no image displays on the monitor. It is just a black screen (with backlight on). I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, re-installing the driver several times. I have used the diagnostic tool to capture a log--see attached file. Any ideas on what to try next? It seems like it is so close to working... I hate to give up now. |
