USN to HDMI no Audio and wont mirror

So im definitely not satisfied at all with the Auvio converter or the supplied software. I have messed with the thing for over 3 hours. Currently I can not get it to do anything other that extend my desktop. It will not mirror for whatever reason. I have adjusted resolutions with nothing working. I also can not get the audio to do anything. I have audio on the laptop but nothing to the monitor. Seems like this would have been a lot cheaper to just go by a new laptop. If yo u have any ideas let me know
