Asus MB168+ USB Monitor and Win8.1

Hi,

I recently bought the Asus MB168+ USB Monitor. Although the maximum resolution for the "+" version is 1920x1080, the monitor keeps it resolution to 1280x720.

In the change resolution menu, 1920x1080 is selectable but when I select it the resolution stays at 1280x720. The monitor is directly connected to USB3.0
Win8.1 is up to date and my drivers also.

Anyone did encounter the same problem? Thank you for the help.
