This is a problem that I've noticed recently when DL software V6.3M1 is installed on the system. The system main video card is nVidia M560GTX and the crash happens even when the DL adapter (or any other external monitor) is not connected.
Explorer crashes when opening a folder with many AVCHD files and preview enabled. The message is the following: Faulting application name: Explorer.EXE, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d672ee4 Faulting module name: dlumd64.dll, version: 8.6.3.40660, time stamp: 0x5016f6bb Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000000036c80 Faulting process id: 0x1fac Faulting application start time: 0x01cd7e7fc97fb089 Faulting application path: C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\dlumd64.dll Report Id: 32b321b4-ea73-11e1-aa93-aab983fc1460 Removing software V6.3M1 solves the problem. I did not try going to an older version of DL software (6.2). This might still be related to the many problems caused by 6.3 with nVidia cards. Last edited by Usacad; 08-21-2012 at 08:12 PM.
