Default Explorer crashes with V6.3M1 and AVCHD

This is a problem that I've noticed recently when DL software V6.3M1 is installed on the system. The system main video card is nVidia M560GTX and the crash happens even when the DL adapter (or any other external monitor) is not connected.

Explorer crashes when opening a folder with many AVCHD files and preview enabled. The message is the following:

Faulting application name: Explorer.EXE, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d672ee4
Faulting module name: dlumd64.dll, version: 8.6.3.40660, time stamp: 0x5016f6bb

Removing software V6.3M1 solves the problem. I did not try going to an older version of DL software (6.2). This might still be related to the many problems caused by 6.3 with nVidia cards.
