DISPLAYLINK not detected

Running windows 8.1 pro
ASUS ROG G751JT 16GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970M 17.3" Gaming Laptop Windows 8.1 64-Bit - G751JT-CH71

brand new laptop brand new docking station.
just ran all the windows updates, opened the docking station, connected everything works but the display link and networking.

when I run your software it just seems to disappear and not say it is finished. but looks like it is installed. I uninstalled, ran the cleaner, rebooted, re-installed and the same thing.

I reset my laptop and did it again... nothing detected. I am wondering if one of these new windows updates is causing it to not be detected? or for your software install to finish? no errors though.
