Displaylink not working with Macbook Pro running 10.7.4

Hello,

I've been using my BVU195 adapter for some time now with my mid-2009 13" Macbook Pro running 10.7.4.

I have one monitor connected via the mini-display port, another connected via the BVU195, and keep the computer itself closed in clamshell mode.

This morning I was moving some wires around, and the USB cable connecting to the BVU195 got disconnected. Ever since then, I have not been able to get the monitor running on Displaylink to work. I was running driver version 1.7 beta 4, but have since upgraded to 1.8 with no change in results.

I've tried rebooting in safe mode and clicking "displays" in system preferences, with no change.

How can I fix this??
