External Screen flickers going from detected to not detected

I have a on MacBook Pro (mid 2012) Catalina 10.15.6 , I updated display link to 1.1

Never had this issue before on my windows dell laptop.

I tried making sure all screws are tight, cleaned all ports on both computer, the tower and monitors. And made sure the permission is on for screen recording for display link in securities.

It works well for about an hour and then uncontrollably starts flickering on and off - from i gathered is the monitors go from detected to not detected.

After restarting it seems to work fine for awhile and then again same thing.

Would appreciate any help.
