Feedback When Volume Is Changed - Clamshell M1 MacBook Pro

I'm getting a feedback sound when I increase the volume, and no feedback when I decrease the volume - when in clamshell mode??? As you can see feedback is switched off, so I should get none.

M1 MacBook Pro 2020 - MacOS 13.1 - DisplayLink Manager 1.8.0 (Build 63.1630)
