The Lenovo dock you as using has a DisplayPort MST hub inside of it that drives the two displays. Mac systems do NOT support DisplayPort MST, which is why the Mac only recognizes the presence of a single display and why both displays are mirror images of each other.

Windows systems support DisplayPort MST, which is why the dock works as expected with your Lenovo laptop.

Thanks for the message. can you recommend a work around or an alternative solution?
Is there something i could possibly download or am i looking at buying new hardware to get everything running smoothly.
