The very same thing happened to me yesterday. I have an Mimo UM-710 USB monitor attached to my MacBook Pro 5,1 with Lion 10.7.4 ... everything was working just great for years. I have been using 1.8 alpha driver since it was released.
Now suddenly yesterday my monitor stopped working. In Displays it shows resolution of 0x0 and this is in my log: 21.6.2012 14:20:56,782 DisplayLinkManager: SCNetworkReachabilityCreateWithAddress[Pair] called with invalid address family 1 |

I think the SCNetworkReachabilityCreateWithAddress log entry is a red herring.
From jtorresqa's logs the only strange thing is a line in the kernel log: "The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 1 of Hub at 0xfd130000)" Nothing looks to be plugged in port 1 so strange. Given this happened after installing some SW I'd suggest to do the usual uninstall DL software, repair permissions, install it again. Carlo |
