It is possible, but looking at the logs, our software has not detected any monitor information, so uses our default mode list. By default, the resolution is set to 1280x1024.
I think 1600x900 is in the default mode list so it should be possible to change the mode through Windows Display Properties. I would try a different video cable and check it is properly connected to the adapter, as I would expect it should be able to read the monitor modes Wim |

I tested with 3 different cables. And none of the native resolution of the monitor was detected (1600x900). The closest I got was 1440x900 and 1600x1200. The cables are still not detect the monitor.

One thing I noticed during testing, when I removed the VGA adapter, it remained active in the windows (NO MONITOR). It disable only when the USB cable was removed.
I'm guessing the problem is the adapter. Because even without a monitor, remained active in the windows, as if with a screen. Last edited by superlistas; 06-25-2012 at 01:15 PM. |

That all works as designed, as our adapter hasn't detected a monitor connected and has given you a default mode list. However it looks like 1600x900 is not in the default mode list.
Have you tried a different VGA cable or shorter VGA cable to try and make sure the modes can be read from the monitor? It should solve the issue. Wim |
