Hi

Thanks for the logs. I see they are taken with v7.2 M0. Also the dock you are using uses the DL-165 USB 2.0 chip, so the audio and Ethernet are not part of the DisplayLink technology.

The logs didn't show the device disconnecting from the USB bus. Were the logs captured just after this event, or is it possible the event was lost off the end of the logs? When it does disconnect, do all USB devices drop off the USB bus or is it just the displays? If it is all devices then this looks like a general USB problem and not specific to DisplayLink (as we are only the video part of the dock hanging off the USB 2.0 hub).

For issue 2, I see you are using the most recent Intel graphics drivers. We did some testing with the latest Intel drivers on their new Haswell platforms and some fixes were put into v7.2 M1 for compatibility with this driver version.

Can you confirm it still happens on 7.2 M1 and submit logs and dmp file using 7.2 M1?

Thanks

Wim

Exclamation

Hi Wim,

We've confirmed the issue does not affect the keyboard and mouse plugged into the dock when it appears to restart.

I get some logs on as soon as we capture the issue again.

We've also noticed the mouse temporarily freeze on the displaylink display, not sure if the two issues are related.

Cheers,

Matt

Exclamation Update

After reading several forum posts, there appear to be a number of people experiencing this issue across multiple versions of Windows and hardware provided by different vendors. With the potential cause being USB power management.

Is this a known issue and is it actively being worked on?

Hi,

What issues are you seeing with the latest R7.4 M0 release?

Can you supply the logs for these issues?

Thanks,
James
