Dear DL support team,
I've had a Targus ACP70EU unit a few weeks now, and it first (for ~1 week) it was working like a charm, then video started to fail sometimes when plugging in the hub, but would come back once taking out power and cables and etc... Now, nothing is bringing back the video. What I've done: Is DisplayLink software installed correctly? - Yes (7.2M1 Driver) Is the DisplayLink service running? - Yes Does the USB device appear in device manager? - Not showing the "USB Display Adapters". Tested all possible iterations of plugging in here and there... Has the USB device booted correctly? - Cannot check since "USB Display Adapters" did not show up. Do you have the latest graphics driver installed? - Yes, installed latest Intel graphics driver. Do you have the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver installed? - Yes, downloaded and installed latest USB3 xHCI host controller driver. After checking the above have you attached the log files? - File attached HW: Dell Latitude 6430U, with Intel HD Graphics 4000 |

Are there any drivers not installed in Device Manager for the dock? Thanks, James |

i've installed the latest drivers from the website, as well as new firmware. the display link is not showing up in the device manager, it looks as if it's only being detected as a usb hub. also when i run the support tool - system comp. check, it's says it could not detect a device connected.

Giuliano,
Sorry but it appears you have a defective dock. Targus has recently become aware of an issue that causes these symptoms. The root cause of the issue is under investigation at DisplayLink and Targus. Please exchange the dock for a new one. Excel, Kevin |
