Did anyone solve this or have a similar issue? I have a Samsung Series 9 and my ultrabook won't charge either. I called Belkin support and they just want to give a reference number so I can return, but they couldn't tell me if this was supported or not.
Thanks, John |

I have the Dell D3100 Docking station and Dell Inspiron 7348. When I bought, sales told me it would power the laptop through the USB 3.0 I/O cable. Once received I can't get it to power the laptop. Called Dell support and they said it should also work - they sent me a replacement docking station - still no luck.

Hi,
None of the current docks will charge the notebook through USB. However some docks can power the notebook through dedicated AC cables: HP Universal dock http://h30094.www3.hp.com/product/sku/10752199 Targus ACP77 dock http://targus.com/us/universal-usb-3...ion-with-power Targus ACP71 dock http://targus.com/us/universal-usb-3...power-acp71usz Thanks, James |
