Hi, I have a Vaio Duo 13 which mounts a Haswell CPU (i5-4200) connected to a DisplayLink port replicator of StarTech and everything works (except for auto-negotiation of speed of the ethernet port)

If this is the dock you are talking about:

Then this dock is DisplayLink DL-3700. It's good to know it works with that one, i'd like to know if someone can run it with a DL-3900.

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding but I was away on business.
The version that I have is the model USB3SDOCKHD and mounts the chip DL-3900, see the specifications here:

I do not know how it works with the new drivers that I just installed, I will verify tomorrow in the office

As promised, I tried the new update that is unintentionally superimposed on an update of the Intel video driver on my Vaio Duo 13 with the undesirable result to see my desktop upset... between curses more or less mumbled I rearranged everything. Not having any particular problems before the update (the story would have advised me not to make the new) I have not noticed particular improvements: I use the second monitor as an extension and, perhaps, is more fluid transition between the two.
Unfortunately still remains the problem of the disappearance of the mouse pointer when booting the PC with the docking station plugged in and the secondary monitor connected (DVI): I must always unplug the monitor before the power-on and reconnect it once have finished the start-up phase, I think it is a problem with the sequence of loading the drivers but could not yet find a solution.
