It sounds very much like there was something new introduced in Windows 8.1 that's not playing nicely with the earlier driver - maybe in the way memory is managed or something.
EDIT: James at DisplayLink suggested trying a USB hub, which has given me some limited success. Not a long term solution, but worth a try. Last edited by Witchfinder; 02-06-2014 at 11:18 PM. Reason: Added more info |
